Veterans Day Ceremony and Reception
Approximately 75 active duty, veterans and staff members joined each other to recognize those who are serving or who have served. In honor of the event, Dr.Paul Allen, an assistant professor talked about his calling to the military and towards the health professions. He went on to recognize all who have served. Dr. Allen cited that UT Health San Antonio has 13% of faculty and staff who have served. This statistic over-indexes the national and local average.
