Dr. Figley spoke about compassion fatigue and his compassion fatigue model. Approximately 60 people attended. Dr. Figley has a distinguished career in the military, published scholar, professor and humanitarian. He has been at the forefront of scholarship on the subject of traumatic stress.

Read moreVeterans Day is a day for us to celebrate and recognize all the men and women who serve. MHI hosted a reception with faculty, students and staff on campus. All came together, some in dress uniform, for camaraderie and fellowship. The ceremony was well attended and documented in the video below.
