Our mission of collaboration
The mission of UT Health San Antonio’s Military Health Institute (MHI) is to enhance the collaborative efforts of the institution with local, state and federal government and non-governmental organizations. Collaboration and partnership leads to innovation and we are dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of our military and civilian families through innovations that have a direct clinical impact.
Military Health Interest Group (MHIG)
The UT Health San Antonio Military Health Interest Group (MHIG) is a student-led activity that welcomes the participation of students from all five of the University’s professional schools. With the support of the MHI, the group meets regularly as a forum for learning about careers in military health and seeks to educate members about military medicine.
Innovative Research Projects
UT Health San Antonio’s Military Health Institute is ground zero for advancements in military health. Our team of researchers are constantly looking for innovative ways to save lives. We provide medical professionals with the tools they need to get innovative research projects funded for the advancement of health for all.
