National Guard Training: Center for Simulation Innovation
The Center for Simulation Innovation held training for the National Guard over the weekend. The military medics participating were part of the on-going COVID state task force that supported the UT Health San Antonio Vaccine Hub with up to 16 medics a day for four months.
Their support of the vaccine hub was critical to the vaccine effort and as a result of their support, they were not able to accomplish their required annual training. John Turner, Dr. Jim Cleveland, and Ms. Louann Click were able to conduct the first Joint Service/Statewide National Guard training event. Ms. Click was “coined” by the National Guard Leadership for her service to the project.
