Business Journal honors MHI Associate Deputy Director as Health Care Hero
Donald Jenkins, associate deputy director of UT Health San Antonio’s Military Health Institute has been honored as a Health Care Hero by the San Antonio Business Journal. The annual awards recognize outstanding achievements by people in the local health care industry.
Jenkins, MD, FACS, was honored in the Outstanding Physician Hospital-Based category. Dr. Jenkins is the associate deputy director of the Military Health Institute at UT Health San Antonio and the Betty and Bob Kelso Distinguished Chair in Burn and Trauma Surgery.
