Military Health Institute: Looking for Next Post-Doctoral Fellow

Military Health Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The Military Health Institute welcomes applications for the Joe and Patty Robles Endowed Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Military Health Research. The Fellowship emphasizes the pursuit of research in scientific fields which affect our military service members and their families. Potential concentrations of research include PTSD, TBI, pain, trauma, neurodegenerative disorders, human performance, and infectious disease.

The fellow should be intent upon making a significant impact in military health research. Current research efforts by the Military Health
Institute span the university to include collaboration with multiple UT Health SA departments and military partners. A potential fellow would have the opportunity to advance military research efforts in his or her area of expertise.

Fellowship applicants are required to have a PhD in a scientific field that advances military health research. Doctoral candidates will need to have defended their dissertation by September 2022. We are seeking an individual for a two-year commitment who is dedicated to promoting
military health and readiness. Potential candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills and have experience with conducting military health research. Preference will be given to those with publication and research experience.

In an email application, please include a cover letter that describes research experience, career goals, CV with publications, and detailed contact information for three 3 references to:
