DoD Grant Workshop:  Introduction to the Department of Defense

Event Details:
The Military Health Institute (MHI) will present an initial orientation to faculty and staff interested in pursuing Department of Defense (DoD) funded research grants.  Dr Byron Hepburn, Director of the MHI, will provide an overview of the DoD, the Defense Health Agency, and the medical research organizations of all branches of the DoD, including sources of grant funding and types of medical research of interest to the DoD.  Dr Alan Peterson will provide perspective as a DoD-funded Principal Investigator.
