Military Institute Leaders Convene

MHI met with its counterparts from University of Pittsburgh, Boston University, UT Southwestern, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, USUHS to discuss issues of common interest related to setting goals and objectives for improving the health of military service members and their families. Opportunities for collaboration were discussed over a full agenda for the day.




Distinguished Lecture: Academic/Military Medicine

Our Distinguished Lecture Series featuring the esteemed Dr. Dale Smith, Professor of Military Medicine & History at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. Professor Smith’s talk was titled, “Essential Synergy: Why We Must Strengthen the Academic and Military Medicine Partnership.” Dr. Smith emphasized the historical context about the benefits and synergies of the academic and military medicine partnership.




Military Scholarship Inspires a New Way to Serve
